"Having just returned from our incredible trip with you to Myoko, Caroline and I would like to thank you again for the most amazing time and for the superb service and attention that we received from you. In particular, the way that you assisted with child care details and logistics for our 1 and 2 year olds absolutely made our holiday, and was way beyond what anyone could ever have expected. We'd also like to thank you for all the guiding, and the fantastic and very well organised trips to other resorts. We felt very lucky to be where so few other visitors would be able to get to. Your knowledge of the resorts and villages was so good, and the professionalism, eye for detail, helpfulness, and friendliness that everyone from Powder Recon displayed throughout sets the standard for every other operator to aspire to. With thanks again."

"I just wanted to write you a quick note to say a HUGE thank you for making Liam and mine's time in Myoko WONDERFUL! You customer service and attention to detail was outstanding. I would (and already have) highly recommend Powder Recon to my friends and family. Perhaps Liam and I will see you in a year or two for another skiing holiday (after this year we have decided we will definitely be skiing once a year). Thanks for making my trip so special."

"I really wanted to say a HUGE thank you for setting up our accommodation at Myoko Kogen and Seventh Door. It was amazing and just the experience we were looking for. Apologies if the translation issues were a hassle for your partner. We fully understood your instructions and the 'proper etiquette'! The dinner was incredible in the dining room. Thank you once again as we would never have found this mountain and this accommodation without you!"

"Just wanted to say thanks for an incredible tour and for giving us a real tour of Japanese powder and a real taste of Japanese culture. The places we went were amazing and felt so authentic, they would have been intimidating without our Powder Recon guide. Sure it was still up to us to avoid the deep-fried crickets at the buffet. Or to figure out how to say “no more” during the multi-course dinners at the Seventh Door. But that’s exactly why I went with Powder Recon. I didn’t want English signage on the buildings, Fosters at the supermarket and Aussies in the bar. I was far happier slipping into anonymous little drinking holes where trendy young guys practised their American-English on us and girls giggled as they taught us the local board games. Cheers for the memories. These will stay with me long after the turns seem like an exaggeration, even to me!"

"Went to Myoko with Powder Recon late Jan-early Feb 2012. We had about 4 metres of snow in about ten days! Bryce and the Powder Recon staff were fantastic. If you want a holiday that is all about the skiing or boarding, rather than resort partying, I could not recommend Myoko highly enough. Each night the Powder Recon guides met with the group to choose where to ski the next day based on their local knowledge of where the best conditions would be. You could choose to do your own thing at one of the three local hills which were serviced by a shuttle bus from near the accommodation, or go with the PR guides in their 4 WD vehicles to one of the other resorts in the area. Other than great powder snow, which was knee to thigh deep every day I was there, was that you had the whole place pretty much to yourself. The longest wait in the lift line was for the other PR guests in front of you, but only if you happened to be the last one down the hill! Most weekdays there would only be about two people every ten chairs! The accommodation was traditional Japanese style which was very comfortable and added to the whole cultural experience, as did relaxing in the onsens to recover after each days riding. The food was sensational and the local people were very friendly. The quantity and quality of the snow and the service, guiding and professionalism of all the Powder Recon crew made this trip without doubt, my most enjoyable ski holiday ever. I will definitely be going back to explore some of the other mountains in the area with them."

"I have booked through Powder Recon for accommodation and for guided tours for a month for the past 2 years and can not rave enough about their professionalism and attention to detail. From looking after the kids to finding the best untracked powder to making sure i dont get killed in an avalanche these people and their guides go out of their way to ensure you are fully looked after during you stay. To them Its not just about booking your trip, its about making sure you enjoy it and get what you are seeking from it. I cant tell you the amount of times i saw others in town with no idea on where to hire equipment, where to go eat, what lines on the mountain to take etc. If untracked powder and full local support and guidance to the best spots are important to you, dont hesitate is my advice."
